of JUVENILE COURTS ACT 1947

Section 106

(a)

be arrested without a warrant by a Protector, probation officer or police officer; and

(b)

be brought before the Court For Children by which the order was made or before the Supervising Court.

(2)

The Court For Children or the Supervising Court before which a child is brought under subsection (1) shall immediately inquire into the case and after taking into account the recommendation of the

Protector or probation officer, as the case may be—

(a)

order the child to be brought back to that person, if he is willing to receive the child; or

make an order which the Court could have made if the child had been brought before the Court as being a child having no parent or guardian.
