Section 57

removes a child from a place of safety or place of refuge without lawful authority;

knowingly assists or induces, directly or indirectly, a child to escape from a place of safety or a place of refuge; or

knowingly harbours or conceals a child who has so escaped, or prevents him from returning to the place of safety or place of refuge,

commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
