Section 80

Gurney School under this Act—

Without prejudice to any written law relating to immigration, whenever an order has been made under this Act for the detention of a child in a place of safety or place of refuge and it appears to the

Director General that in the best interests of the child it is expedient that he be transferred from that place of safety or place of refuge to another place of safety or place of refuge within Malaysia, it shall be lawful for the Director General to issue an order that the child shall be so transferred.
