Use of defined terms in subsidiary legislation
Where an Act of Parliament, Ordinance or Enactment confers power to make any subsidiary legislation, expressions used in the subsidiary legislation shall, unless the contrary intention appears, have the same respective meaning as in the Act of Parliament,
Ordinance or Enactment conferring the power and any reference in such subsidiary legislation to “the Act” or “the Ordinance” or “the
Enactment” shall be read as meaning the Act of Parliament,
Ordinance or Enactment conferring the power to make such subsidiary legislation.
