Power to remove child from unsatisfactory environment
If the Court refuses to grant either an interim order or an adoption order on the grounds that the adoptive home is unsuitable, the Court may, if it considers it to be in the interests of the child so to do, make an immediate order committing the child to the care of the
Director General of Social Welfare.
