Section 11Q

Where a person in the national service reserve is subject to service law, and is unlawfully absent from his duty, a board of inquiry under section 147 of the Armed Forces Act 1972 may be assembled after the expiration of twenty-one days from the date of the person’s absence, notwithstanding that the period during which the person was subject to service law is less than twenty-one days, or has expired before the expiration of twenty-one days; and the record mentioned in the said section may be entered in the manner thereby provided.
