Transitional provisions for States of Malaya
(2)
This Act shall apply to proceedings under the Bankruptcy
Ordinance of the States of Malaya repealed by this Act pending at the commencement of this Act as if commenced under this Act.

(3)
Any reference in this Act to a previous bankruptcy or to any order made in or in respect of a previous bankruptcy shall be deemed to include a reference to any previous bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy Ordinance of the States of Malaya repealed by this
Act and to any order made in or in respect of such bankruptcy.
(4)
All orders, notices, directions and appointments made or given under the Bankruptcy Ordinance of the States of Malaya repealed by this Act and in force and effect immediately before the commencement of this Act shall continue in force and effect as if made under this Act.
