(2)
No bank shall do any business with the public on any day declared a bank holiday under the provisions of subsection (1).
(3)
A bank holiday declared under the provisions of subsection (1) shall not necessarily be a public holiday and nothing in this section shall be deemed to affect the provisions of any written law relating to public holidays for the time being in force.
(4)
Any reference to a bank holiday in any written law for the time being in force shall include any day declared to be a bank holiday under the provisions of this section and any day which is a public holiday within the meaning of any written law relating to public holidays for the time being in force.
