Obstruction of authorized officers 27j. Any person who in any way obstructs, hinders, prevents or interferes with the Director General or any officer of the Board, in the exercise of his powers or carrying out his duties under this

Act or who fails to afford such assistance as is reasonably required

by the Director General or any officer of the Board, commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
