Retention and disposal of specimens and samples
The Director General may retain any specimen or sample submitted to him for identification or analysis and may at any time arrange for the disposal of such specimens or samples in any way he deems fit, except that such specimens and samples shall be returned to the person submitting them if a request to this effect is made at the time of submission.
