Section 20

Any person who, without the consent of the Director General or a Medical Officer of Health interferes with, damages, injures, destroys or renders useless any works executed or any materials or things placed in, under or upon any premises by or under the orders of the Director General or a Medical Officer of Health shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding *ten thousand ringgit; and the

Director General or a Medical Officer of Health may notwithstanding any written law recover from the person convicted, in the same manner as if it were a fine imposed by a Magistrate’s court, such costs and expenses as were incurred in repairing the works or replacing the materials or things so interfered with, damaged, injured, destroyed or rendered useless.
