Section 27

Powers to make regulations

The Minister may make regulations for carrying out the purposes of this Act and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing words may—

(a)

specify the measures or work to be taken or done by any person or class of persons to prevent the propagation and harbouring of disease bearing insects;

(b)

require any person or class of persons to submit such information as may be specified;

*NOTE—Previously “one hundred ringgit”–see Act A1086.

(c)

prescribe the control of and conditions governing the import or export of disease bearing insects;

(d)

prescribe the offences which may be compounded and the manner of compounding;

(e)

prescribe the forms of any order, notices, or any other document required under this Act or any regulations made thereunder.
