(a)
has satisfactorily served the prescribed period of articles;
(b)
has attended such courses of instruction as may generally or specially be prescribed by the Board; and
(c)
has passed such examination as may be prescribed by the
Board.
(2)
As from the 1 January 1984, no articled clerk shall be admitted and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor unless, in addition to satisfying the requirements of subsection (1), he has passed or is exempted from the Bahasa Malaysia Qualifying Examination.
