Section 54

The President or in his absence the Vice-President shall be the

Chairman of the Bar Council and shall preside at all meetings of the

Bar Council and of the Malaysian Bar.

In the absence of both the President and the Vice-President, the

Bar Council shall elect a Chairman from amongst its members.
