Section 69

Any person who commits a nuisance or deposits any filth in or upon the bank of any stream, channel, public drain or other water-course within the local authority area shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year or with both and to a further fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit for each day during which the offence is continued after conviction.
