This Act shall come into force on such date as the Minister may by notification in the Gazette appoint, such date not being earlier than the date on which the notification is published.

Establishment of Universiti is pursuant to Article 153 of the

Federal Constitution 1a. The Universiti Teknologi MARA is established pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of Article 153 of the

Federal Constitution.
