Section 31

Each Licensing Board shall consist of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and not less than two nor more than five other members, all of whom shall be appointed by the Minister:

Provided that, with the exception of the Chairman, no public officer who in his official capacity has any dealings or is in any way concerned with the sale or purchase of intoxicating liquors or with premises in which such sale or purchase is or may be carried on shall be appointed to any Board.

Excise 55

Subject to this section each member of a Licensing Board shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years from the date of his appointment as may be specified in his appointment unless he shall previously have resigned from his office.

A member of a Licensing Board may be re-appointed upon the expiration of the term of his appointment.

The Minister may at any time revoke the appointment of any member of a Licensing Board, if he deems it expedient to do so, without assigning any reason therefor.
