The remuneration of the President and Deputy President of the Senate and the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of
(a)
in the case of the President of the Senate, a monthly salary of thirty-one thousand ringgit in addition to the monthly allowance payable to him as a member of the
Senate as specified in paragraph 3(1)(a);
(b)
in the case of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, a monthly salary of thirty-one thousand ringgit in addition to the monthly allowance payable to a member of the
House of Representatives as specified in paragraph 3(1)(b)
irrespective of whether or not the Speaker is a member of the House of Representatives;
(c)
in the case of the Deputy President of the Senate, a monthly salary of twenty-two thousand ringgit in addition to the monthly allowance payable to him as a member of the Senate as specified in paragraph 3(1)(a);

(d)
in the case of the Deputy Speaker of the House of
Representatives, a monthly salary of twenty-two thousand ringgit in addition to the monthly allowance payable to him as a member of the House of Representatives as specified in paragraph 3(1)(b).
