(2)
The Commissioner may at the time of granting planning permission and at any time thereafter require the applicant to deposit and deposit further with the Commissioner such amount as the
Commissioner may determine to ensure that—
(a)
the condition for the preservation or planting of trees will be complied with; and
(b)
any open spaces are made up according to the approved plans and specifications.
(3)
The amount determined by the Commissioner shall be deposited within such period as may be specified by the Commissioner.
