Savings
Nothing in this Act shall affect the past operation of, or anything done under, any previous forest law, or so far as they relate to forestry, the provisions of any other law passed before the commencement of this Act:
(a)
any right, liberty, privilege, obligation or liability existing at the commencement of this Act by virtue of any such law shall be subject to the provisions of this Act;
(b)
any privileges conceded or rights admitted in any Gazette notification constituting a reserved forest under any previous forest law existing at the commencement of this Act, unless sooner revoked by the State Authority, shall cease after a period of one year from the date of coming into force of this Act.
