Section 18

vary or rescind any provision contained in any licence, minor licence, use permit or removal licence issued under this Act or the provisions of any previous forest law, where satisfied that compliance therewith is impossible or that great hardship would otherwise accrue to the licensee or holder of the minor licence, removal licence or use permit, as the case may be; and

to extend on such terms as the State Authority may think fit to impose, the time within which any act is required to be done by any provision of this Act.
