The certificate issued under subsection (1) shall bear an appropriate reference number and shall specify the corrections, if any, made by the Lembaga to or in respect of the Qur’anic text.

Any person who contravenes the provision of subsection (1)

commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding *fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
