For the purposes of subsection (1), references in section 56 to

“public service vehicle” shall be construed as references to the said goods vehicles, employees vehicles or excursion buses and the words

“for the carriage of passengers for hire or reward” appearing in subsection 56(1) shall be disregarded.

Notwithstanding subsections (1) and (2) and subsection 56(2), the vocational licence for goods vehicles in respect of a motorcycle may be issued to the applicant under the age of twenty-one and over the age of eighteen.
