(2)
Subject to subsection (1) and section 76A, where any traffic sign has been lawfully placed on or near any road, any pedestrian or any person driving or propelling any vehicle, who fails or neglects to conform to the indication given by the sign, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine of not less than three hundred ringgit and not more than two thousand ringgit.
(3)
In any proceedings for an offence against this section, in so far as it is necessary in order to establish the offence charged, it shall be presumed until the contrary is proved that such sign was lawfully placed under the provisions of section 77.
