Section 80

Any person who for any purpose places or causes to be placed any road hump or any rope, wire, chain, tackle or similar apparatus across a road or any part thereof in such a manner as to be likely to cause danger to persons or damage to vehicles using the road shall, unless he proves that he had a lawful right so to do and that he had taken all necessary means to give adequate warning of the danger, be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not

exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
