Section 88D

Without prejudice to subsection (1), the Minister may in writing authorize any public officer or Authority to demand, collect and retain the charges as prescribed under this Part, upon such conditions as he deems fit.

Where the Minister has authorized an Authority to demand, collect and retain the charges under subsection (2), it shall be deemed that the officers of the Authority have been duly authorized to demand, collect and retain such charges on behalf of the Authority.

The Minister may revoke any authorization made under subsection (2) without assigning any reasons.
