Section 39

Notwithstanding any rule of law, or the provisions of this Act, or any other written law, whether enacted before or after the commencement of this Act, to the contrary, and notwithstanding that the agent provocateur is a police officer of whatever rank, any statement, whether oral or in writing made to an agent provocateur by any person, including any person who subsequently is charged with an offence under this Act, or proceeded against under Part III, shall be admissible in evidence and given due weight and consideration at any trial for an offence under this Act, or in any proceeding under Part

III, whether the trial is of the person who made the statement, or of any other person, or the proceeding is against the person who made the statement or any other person.
