Section 26

The Minister may, by order, vest in an officer appointed under subsection 3(2) of the Employment Act 1955 and in the Director

General of Social Welfare and authorized officers appointed under the Child Care Centre Act 1984 [Act 308] all or any of the powers conferred upon the Director General by this Act and every duty so performed and every power so exercised shall be deemed to have been performed and exercised for the purpose of this Act.

Power to issue directions 26a.  The Minister may issue such directions as he considers necessary for the purposes of ensuring compliance with this Act.
