Section 1

This Act may be cited as the Syariah Court Evidence (Federal

Territories) Act 1997 and shall apply to the Federal Territories of

Kuala Lumpur and Labuan.

This Act shall come into force on a date to be appointed by the

Yang di-Pertuan Agong by notification in the Gazette.
