(2)
The Commission may recommend to the Minister that assignments in a determined spectrum be compulsorily acquired by the Commission in accordance with a reassignment of spectrum consistent with the spectrum plan.
(3)
The Minister may, after taking into account the recommendation of the Commission under subsection (2), direct that assignments in a determined spectrum be compulsorily acquired by the
Commission.
(4)
The Commission may pay a reasonable amount of compensation to the holder of an assignment whose assignment has been acquired prior to its expiry, by a direction made under this section.
(5)
No compensation may be payable if an assignment is not renewed.
