Section 25

shall be both non-exclusive and non-assignable;

shall be limited to the public non-commercial purpose for which the authorization under section 24 is given;

shall be subject to the terms of the authorization given under section 24;

does not permit the sale of the protected layout-design, a copy of the protected layout-design or an integrated circuit in which the protected layout-design is incorporated

(whether or not the integrated circuit is contained in another article) to the public; and

shall be limited to the doing of the acts predominantly in Malaysia.

An act done under section 24 in relation to a protected layout-design shall not be taken into account in calculating the duration of protection of the layout-design referred to in section 8.
