Section 123
Protection against suit and legal proceedings
An action shall not lie and prosecution shall not be brought, instituted or maintained in any Court against the Government,
Minister, Director General, Protector, Assistant Protector, prison officer, Social Welfare Officer, probation officer, police officer or medical officer for anything done or omitted to be done under this Act—
(a)
in good faith;
(b)
in the reasonable belief that it was necessary for the purpose intended to be served thereby; or
(c)
for carrying into effect the provisions of this Act.
