Section 14

of *MUTUAL ASSISTANCE IN CRIMINAL MATTERS ACT 2002

Section 14

Where the Attorney General is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that there is, in any foreign State, a person who—

(a)

is or might be concerned in or affected by; or

(b)

could give evidence or assistance relevant to, any criminal matter in Malaysia, the Attorney General may request the appropriate authority of that foreign State to assist in locating, or, if the person’s identity is unknown, in identifying and locating, that person.
