Section 8

Designation of a transferee company by the Minister

(1)

Upon the conversion of the Exchange to a public company limited by shares, the Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, designate a wholly owned subsidiary of such Exchange to be the transferee company for the purposes of this Act.

(2)

For the purposes of this section, “wholly owned subsidiary”

has the meaning assigned to it in section 5B of the Companies Act 1965.
