(2)
Where a service water pipe to any premises has been unlawfully connected to a public mains or to another service water pipe serving another premises, it shall be presumed until the contrary is proved that the unlawful connection was made by the owner or the occupier of the first-mentioned premises.
(3)
A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
