Section 70

to give feedback and make recommendations to the

Commission on any matters concerning the interest of consumers of the water supply services and sewerage services;

to represent the interests of consumers of the water supply services and sewerage services;

to promote consumer’s interest in relation to the tariffs and standards of water supply services and sewerage services;

to identify and keep under review matters affecting the interests of consumers and ensure that the water supply services and sewerage services companies are aware of, and responsive to, concerns about their services;

to publicise the existence, functions and work of the

Water Forum in protecting the interests of consumers;

and

to carry out any functions as may be determined by the

Commission.

The Commission shall have due regard to the recommendations of the Water Forum in the exercise of its powers and the performance of its functions under this Act.
