(2)
The National Measurement Standards Laboratory shall maintain or cause to be maintained the National Measurement Standards as the Minister considers necessary to provide the means by which measurements of measurable quantities may be made in terms of the units of measurement of such measurable quantities.
(3)
The National Measurement Standards Laboratory shall maintain or cause to be maintained certified reference materials as are necessary to provide the means by which measurement of measurable quantities may be made in terms of the units of measurement of such measurable quantities.
