Section 43

Offence for giving false or misleading information

(2)

If a person who commits an offence under subsection (1)

is one whose profession is regulated by any written law, he shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit.

(3)

Any company or corporation which discloses or provides, or causes any person to disclose or provide, information to the

Authority which it knows or has reason to believe is false or misleading commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit.
