Section 165

Section 165

(a)

within two days after such appointment give written notice to the affected person;

(b)

within seven days after such appointment lodge a notice of the conservator’s appointment with—

(i)

the Companies Commission of Malaysia; and

(ii)

in the case of a public listed company, Bursa

Malaysia, in such form as determined by the Corporation; and

(c)

within seven days after such appointment cause a notice of the conservator’s appointment to be published in at least two daily newspapers in Malaysia, one of which shall be in the national language.

(2)

Every invoice, order for goods or services, business letter, cheque, credit note or negotiable instrument or other documents which, after the appointment of a conservator in relation to the affected person, is issued by or on behalf of the affected person or the conservator, being a document on or in which the affected person’s name appears, shall contain the words “Conservator Appointed” or similar words.

(3)

A contravention of this section shall not affect the validity of the acts of the conservator in the administration of the affected person.
