Section 6
(a)
to save, use, exchange and sell farm-saved seed or propagating material; and
(b)
to undertake conventional breeding or traditional practices in use in agriculture, horticulture, poultry farming, dairy farming, animal husbandry or bee keeping.

For the purposes of this section, “small farmer” has the meaning assigned to it in the Protection of New Plant Varieties
Act 2004.
