(2)
The application under subsection (1) shall be supported by an affidavit.
(3)
The applicant shall serve a copy of the application under subsection (1) on the Majlis Peguam Syarie within fourteen days before the hearing of the application.
(4)
The Majlis Peguam Syarie shall, upon receiving a copy of the application, prepare a report which shall include copies of the record of any proceedings as a result of which the applicant’s name was removed or struck off from the Register.

The Majlis Peguam Syarie shall be represented during the hearing of the application for the restoration and shall submit the report prepared under subsection (4) to the Syariah High Court before the hearing of the application.
(6)
The Syariah High Court may, if it thinks fair and reasonable, order the Chief Registrar to restore the name of the applicant in the Register.
(7)
Any person who is aggrieved by the decision of the Syariah
High Court may appeal to the Syariah Appeal Court.
