(a)
is an undischarged bankrupt;

(b)
his name has been struck off from the Register otherwise than at his own request in any State and his name remains struck off;
(c)
has been suspended from practising as a Peguam Syarie in any State and remains suspended;
(d)
has been convicted of any offence under this Act;
(e)
has been convicted of an offence involving dishonesty or fraud or has been found guilty of an offence under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commision Act 2009
[Act 694];
(f)
has been convicted of any offence under section 15a of the Minor Offences Act 1955 [Act 336]; or
(g)
is employed as a public officer.
(2)
Any Peguam Syarie who acts in contravention of this section shall be subject to disciplinary proceedings.
