Section 75

Whoever, having been convicted of an offence punishable under Chapter XII or Chapter XVII with imprisonment for a term of three years or upwards, or having been convicted in any other part of Malaysia, in the Republic of Singapore or in the State of Brunei of an offence of a nature similar to any of those offences, shall be guilty of any offence punishable under either of those Chapters with imprisonment for a term of three years or upwards, and shall be subject for every such subsequent offence to double the amount of punishment to which he would otherwise have been liable for the same.

Punishment of mandatory imprisonment for persons convicted of multiple serious offences 75a.  Whoever, having been convicted at least two times of a serious offence and was punished with at least two years of imprisonment for each of those convictions, shall be punished with mandatory imprisonment for the third and subsequent offences and the term of imprisonment shall not be less than double the term of the longer term of imprisonment imposed for the previous convictions.
