Section 63
A person who knowingly—
(a)
makes any false or misleading statement or representation in the application for legal aid or public defence services;
(b)
fails to make full disclosure of his financial ability; or

(c)
fails to inform the Director General of any change in his means or condition which may render him ineligible for legal aid or public defence services under this Act, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years or to both.
