Section 29

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act, the Minister or, in relation to a State, the Menteri Besar or Chief Minister, as the case may be, may, if he considers it in the national or State interest to do so, implement any policy or measures in any Government procurement to encourage, promote, stimulate or facilitate social, economic and environmental development in Malaysia or any particular State, as the case may be.
