The Franchise Act 1998 [Act 590], which is referred to as the
“principal Act” in this Act, is amended in section 3—
(a)
in subsection (1), by inserting after the words “the sale”
the words “and operation”; and
(b)
in subsection (2)—
(i)
by inserting after the words “The sale” the words
“and operation”; and
(ii)
in subparagraph (a)(ii), by inserting after the word
“within” the words “or outside”.
