The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 39
the following section:
“Inquiry by Protector 39a. (1) If a Court For Children makes an order for a child to be placed in a place of refuge under subsection 39(4), an inquiry into the circumstances of the child’s case shall be made by the Protector.
(2)
The Protector shall complete the inquiry and submit the report of the inquiry to the Court For Children within a period not exceeding one month from the date the order is made under subsection 39(4).”.
