Section 8
Section 35a of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the word “shall” the word “may”;

(b)
in subsection (2), by inserting after the word “thereunder”
the words “or a person who has been compounded under this Act and has paid the compound”; and
(c)
by deleting subsections (6) and (7).
