(2)
Any rules made under Part III of the Ordinance before the coming into operation of this Act shall be deemed to have been made under Part III of this Act and shall continue to be in operation until amended, revoked or replaced by any subsidiary legislation made under Part III of this Act.
(3)
Subject to subsection (4), any owner, master or seafarer who is subjected to Part III shall comply with the provisions of
Part III within six months from the date of coming into operation of this Act or such other longer period as may be permitted by the Director of Marine.
(4)
The requirements under Part III which relate to the construction of a ship shall apply to ships constructed on or after the date of the coming into operation of this Act.
