Kanun dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas seksyen 407a seksyen yang berikut:
“Penalty if property has been disposed or concealed 407b. Where an offence is proved against an accused and the property which is the subject matter of an offence has been disposed of or concealed by the accused or any person

on his behalf, the Court shall order the accused to pay as a penalty a sum of which is equivalent to, in the opinion of the Court, the value of the property, and any such penalty shall be recoverable as a fine.”.
